Hello there! You are in for a treat today, because these new products from The Greetery's Love Letters P.S. Collection are soooo good! Holy moly! This first card may be one of my favorite cards I've ever made! Like ever, ever! It features the fabulous new Vintage Type stamp & cut combo. Is that typewriter amazing or what?! I'll tell you about it in a minute...
Let's start from the top and work our way down! First up, on the background, I stamped some small hearts from the Four Square Valentine Tags stamp set, just for a bit of interest in the back. Then, I layered on the typewriter and on the paper coming out of the typewriter, I stamped a sentiment from the new Just My Type stamp set and then above that, I added a new die cut from Typed Greetings. I die cut the letters from gold glitter card stock and then used that same glitter card stock as an accent throughout the card! I LOVE IT. LOL!
I also added two floral die cuts from the new Graceful Stems die set, and cut them simply from a green card stock, and then die cut the little flowers from the gold glitter card stock.
Here, you can see that I die cut the typewriter from black card stock and the little overlay pieces toward the top in gray. I stamped this with images from the Vintage Type set and then stamped the letters on white card stock that I layered behind. And then, yep, you guessed it....more gold glitter for the space bar and shift buttons, as well as the slidey-bar-thingie at the top, and the typewriter-key-innards-piece at the top, too. Hahaha! Lastly, I die cut that top layer curved/pointy piece from a gold mirror card stock, so that it really pops against the gold glitter.
Fun, right?? :)
PRO TIP: I can't wait to give this one to Bartley for Valentine's Day! It feels like a pretty epic card to me! Hope he thinks so, too! But even if he doesn't, I'm giving it to him which means technically, I'm sort of keeping it for me because he never gets rid of the cards I make and give him, so....win-win! There's your pro tip! Give your best cards to someone in your house, so you can sort of keep them! Hahahahaha!! Kidding...(sort of.)

Ok, so here's another really lovely grouping of products! The ink bottle and feather pen are from the new Inked Well stamps and dies, and that gorgeous sentiment is from the new Scripted Sentiments.
On the background, I added several Graceful Stems die cuts to create a subtle and beautiful texture.
PRO TIP: For this type of background, use a shade slightly darker or lighter than your card base, for just a bit of contrast, but not so much that it distracts from your focal point. And be sure to rotate the direction of the die cuts, so that it looks like a floral print.
I used my little tap-tap-tap trick on the feather, that I told you about yesterday for ink blending when stamping. I love how elegant and feminine this card feels!

One more for today! For this one, I used the new Flourished Phrases Hello stencils and then added the "A note to say" from the Flourished Phrases: Hello Additions stamp set.
I created the pen with the new Pen Pal dies....highly recommend some metallic card stock for this!
I also used the Ribbon Maker Large Scallops die to cut the scalloped strip along the top of the card. Such a sweet little detail!
Lastly, I added an additional sentiment from the new Sign Off Sentiments down at the bottom.
