Hi, Friends! I've got more from the Spring Fling Collection from The Greetery, to show you today! Let's dive right in!
First up is a fun card with a bit of a retro feel, I think. Something about it kinda reminds me of the florals of my childhood!
I used the new Print Shop Modern Botanical stamps, stencils and dies to create the background panel and then I die cut it with the Hoopla Oval Inserts die, so it's got that cute dotted/scalloped border, and then around that, I used a Hoopla Oval die to create that rose gold glittery frame!
I then used the stencils and stamps to create a few extra elements and die cut the flowers, as well as fussy-cut the leaves with scissors.
PRO TIP: Using your paper snips to cut out some elements, is really a simple, old-as-the-hills trick that we often forget we can do, because we're so used to grabbing a die for everything! But just remember that if need be and you can't get the dies along with your favorite images -- for whatever reason -- you can always cut them by hand! And in cases like this where there aren't dies for every single element (like the leaves), remembering that you CAN just cut them out, opens up a world of additional design options to you!
I LOVE how much movement and detail and interest these cut out leaves add to this card! It wouldn't be nearly the same if I'd just skipped that element! I'm so glad I didn't!
I used the new Simply Bold LOVE dies to cut out two sets of letters and just stacked them up, offset a bit to create a shadow effect. Such a simple sentiment but it'll be really great for a pretty wide variety of occasions, not to mention those all-important "just because" cards!

Next up is a card for Mom! I again used the new Spring Snowdrops -- this time in some blue tones. I love that they don't have to be die cut, and work well as a background element, too.
The sentiment is from the new To Mom With Love set.
At the bottom, I added additional sentiment elements with the new Simply Bold MOM die and the 'we love you' from To Mom With Love.
PRO TIP: Nearly anything looks cuter when die cut from glitter card stock! Haha!
To reiterate that glitter element, I also added the thinnest strip of it behind the blue.
PRO TIP: Adding a sentiment strip along the bottom serves multiple purposes. It anchors the flowers, so it's as though they're growing up from behind it. It allows you an additional landing spot for your sentiment, and it helps to balance out the other two elements up above -- the flowers and the large die cut.

One more for today....for this one, I used the new Easter Morning Sentiments stamps and dies for the large sentiment, as well as the companion 'happy Easter'.
I then used the new Spring Frame rubber stamp and die to cut out the greenery layers.
PRO TIP: You can beef up any die cut by adding an additional die cut behind and off-setting it just slightly, as a shadow effect. This works particularly well in cases like this frame or sentiment elements like the LOVE at the top of this post.
After stamping the frame, I layered on a few of the additional die cut flowers, as well as some enamel dots in a complimentary color.
