Hello there! It's time to introduce you to the newest collection from The Greetery, called Spring Fling!
I had so much fun with this first card featuring the new Seagrass Basket die! Let me tell you all about it...
I die cut and put the basket together. I used some teeny brads from my stash -- I love that they have little Phillips screw heads! (Linked below) Behind the basket, I stamped the Seed Catalog Background and then pulled out BotaniCuts Strawberries, Budding Beauties: Summer and Large Leaves Fern to fill up my basket!
I love how lush, overflowing and Springy it is! Can't you just picture carrying a basket full of goodness like this, out of the farmer's market?
PRO TIP: Remember that there are multiple ways to add shading and dimension to your die cuts. For the strawberries, I added some shading with ink blending, as well as some highlights with a white colored pencil to give a bit of a shiny look.
For a finishing touch, I added some clear enamel dots, to add to the juicy feel of the strawberries!
The little sign is part of the Seagrass Basket die set and the sentiment is from the new All Occasion Script Sentiments stamp set.

Next up is a pretty little birthday card that features the new BotaniCuts Lilacs! Goodness, we love our lilac bushes in real life, so this card was a joy to make....gets me excited about that lilac scent (my favorite of them all!) that will be back soon! Spring is just around the corner!
I die cut all the pieces for the lilacs and then used some colored pencils to add some simple shading to the centers of the flowers, as well as on the veins of the leaves. It's a small thing that can really add some big impact on your card!
I pulled out the Make a Wish die for a big splashy sentiment! And then, I added a companion "Happy Birthday" with a stamp from the new All Occasion Script Sentiments. Along the bottom of the card, I added a thin strip of glitter card stock for some additional detail and interest!

One more for today....for this one, I used the new Spring Snowdrops stamp + stencil & die set.
I die cut the Snowdrops and used the stamps and stencils to add some color. I know that in real life, Snowdrops are more white/blue however I'm guessing you'll see plenty of that today! So I decided to give them a totally different look because....why on earth not?! Haha! I love them in a soft pink and red palette!
I layered them on a Stitched Scallops die cut note card and added a couple strips of card stock (one glittery) behind the flowers. The sentiments are also from the Spring Snowdrops set.
PRO TIP: For really polished paper strips, glue the two strips together and run them through the die cutting machine to get that finished, scalloped detail and then glue the strips to the die cut card base!
