Hello there! Welcome back for Day 2 of The Greetery's birthday fun! Up today are some DARLING things I think you're going to love!
First up....how cute is this card?! There's an entire collection of cuteness releasing tomorrow, called Hey Honeycomb, and all of it can work with these honeycomb balls! There's also a new set of honeycomb balls to work with, in fun year-round colors! LOVE!
And of course, in true Greetery style, everything is super versatile and will work without the honeycomb balls, too!
For this first card, I used the Hey Honeycomb Basics die to cut out the flower center pieces, and then stamped the bits from the Hey Honeycomb Sentiments stamp set. I die cut a bit of the new 3D foam adhesive with one of the small dies from the basics set, to add the little peel and stick heart. When the recipient gets their card, they can just peel off that white paper backing on the heart, open the honeycomb ball and stick it to the heart.
For the flower, I used the Hey Honeycomb Flower Power die, and then pulled out the previously released Large Leaves: Magnolia dies to cut some leaves out to tuck behind the flower.
On the background, I stamped the little star repeatedly, from Hey Honeycomb Sentiments, to create a background pattern. And then, for the sentiment, I added a banner from the previously released Takes The Cake.
PRO TIP: I added a bit of shading to each of the elements with some ink blending. It may not be so noticeable in the pictures, but in real life, it adds some subtle interest. I did that ink blending on the edge of the flower petals, the bases of the leaves (to darken them, since that part of the leaf would naturally be shaded by the flower on top), and at the gathered corners of the banner.

Next up is the Hey Honeycomb Party Hat dies and I paired them with the Streamer Hot Foil on the background, and one of the new Four Square Birthday sentiments.
For the top of the party hat, I stacked up four of each size die cut and then fluffed them all forward.
I used the Party Hat stencils to add color to the hat. Just imagine hats in all sorts of different color combos!

This card was made with the new Award Winning die, and I paired it with the new Inflated Sentiments Stamp Set. How fun is that?! And notice the circle and pinked edge circle die cuts? I used those on the purple and orange birthday card yesterday!
I love the illusion of dimension these sentiments give!
And look at that gold shine behind the award! That's from the Ticker Tape Hot Foil.

One more for today....this one features the new What's the Scoop stamp set and die, and I paired it with the Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die!
I did a bit of shading with some ink blending on each of the elements, along the bottom of the cherry, chocolate, ice cream and the side of the cone.
The sentiments are all from the Here's The Scoop stamps and dies.
