Hello there, friends! The Greetery is at it again, with a DARLING new collection of goodies that I think you're going to love, called Garden Party! (Doesn't that already sound like it's right up my alley?????) ;)
To start things off, let's chat about this super fun stack of teacups. They're actually connected on the back, with a ridiculously clever die cut that allows each of them to tip back and forth on the card front, without coming out of their stack! It makes for a really fun interactive element on the card!
I used the Sips Tea stamp + cut combo, as well as the stencils, to add all the colorful details to my tea cups.
PRO TIP: I created an ombre effect on the third tea cup, simply by applying a lot of pressure with the blending brush and red ink at the bottom of the cup, and lightening the pressure toward the middle of the cup. Then, on the top edge of the cup, switched to a lighter pink ink.
On the background, I used the new Flourished Frames die and then finished things off with a sentiment from the new Brew-Tea-Ful stamp set.

Next up, I used the Fine China stamp set, die + stencil and hot foil, to create those pretty china plates!
The hot foils just add such a pretty shine and make them feel like many of the vintage plates we have, that are rimmed in gold.
That stamped floral cluster in the middle is my favorite, and I added the single rose, stamped repeatedly around the larger plate.
The sentiment is also from Fine China, and of course, I layered it all on another Flourished Frame die cut.
Look at that shine!!

Ok, I want to go to this tea party picnic!! This card has so many fun details! Tea cup, teapot, cutting board, tea sandwiches, and a scalloped gingham background! Let me break down all the details for you!
The background panel was die cut with one of the new A2 Stitched Scallops dies and then stenciled with the new Scalloped Gingham stencils.
Next up came the wooden board....I used the new Char-Cut-erie Board and cut it from kraft card stock and then blended on some brown ink to give it a warmer, more natural feel.
For the teapot, I did a little shading with a blending brush and then stamped on that Fine China floral cluster because I love it so much!
And how fun are those tea sandwiches?! Good grief! You can mix and match a zillion different layers to create the tea sandwiches of your dreams! These remind of having high tea in London years ago!!
PRO TIP: Add some glam to your sandwiches, with toothpicks cut from glitter card stock!! And don't forget the little teabag tag! I stamped that single rose on the tag because who says your teabag tag has to be boring and basic!?
