Hey, Friends! Welcome back! It's the last day of product introductions and I think these first two cards may be my favorite from the whole release....and that's saying something, because the are sure a lot of darling new products this month!!
Partly, I'm in LOVE with this color combo....so much so, that I had to make a couple of cards that color coordinate, just for fun!
So for this first card, I started out with a white card base and used one of the new Knit Wits stencils and a blending brush with a taupe-y gray ink, to create that knitted-look background!
PRO TIP: For even more interest, go darker with your blending in one spot and lighter in another! Just be a little more heavy-handed with your blending in the areas you want to be a bit darker.
This card almost feels like someone's having a picnic under a tree, doesn't it?!
So I added a branch from Autumn Sketches, stamped in shades of yellows at the top of the card. Then, I die cut and stamped some elements from the new Cozy Cup stamp set.....oh my word, how clever and adorable is this set?!!!! First of all, I'll take all the fancy lattes with pretty foam art on top! So to be able to make my own to give away any time I want, is just so fun! I stamped the cup, coffee foam, spoon and two little wheat stalks (who says wheat always has to be golden?!) and popped them all on the new Cozy Cup Coaster die cut (which, by the way, you can use on a zillion other types of cards too!!). I stamped a curved sentiment from Cozy Cup on the coaster....it says, "sitting here thinking of you"! I love a classy sentiment that doesn't have to be punny just because there's a coffee on the card. Know what I mean? Gosh, I could send this type of card to a lot of different friends and family!
To finish it off, I added a couple more little accent die cuts from Autumn Sketches, in this same delicious mustard and teal color combo! What do you think? Is this a color combo you could see yourself trying out?

For this card, I used lots of the same elements and colors, just in different ways. The coffee cup is a brighter aqua, but I still added pops of teal on the die cut branches. The sentiment on this one says, "leaves are falling, coffee is calling". Again, this would be so nice to send to a friend, followed by a coffee meet-up!
I used another of the three Knit Wits stencils on this one....it's a different pattern, than the one on the first card. I love how easy these are to use, and what a big impact they have. Lots more Autumn Sketches die cuts, as well as more of that wheat from Cozy Cup finished this one off.

One more before I go......this one features the newest in the Katie's Cuties series: Gettin' Cozy. GAH.....that little mouse is knitting a sock!! If you've ever followed me on instagram for more than a minute, you probably know that I'm a sock knitter, so I couldn't resist that little mouse image....plus, I'm a sucker for a chubby red and white mushroom always! Haha!
The sentiment is also from Katie's Cuties, and I stamped it on a Halfsies die cut. Behind that, is a soft pink card base, with more Knit Wits stenciling on it. Such a fun little card!
